Lucasfilm has released an official teaser sizzle reel for Andor. The Disney+ series will chronicle the origins of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, who was introduced in the 2016 film Rogue One.
Yup, sold.
Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy revealed that Andor will run for 12 episodes. Of course, there’s always the possibility the series could be renewed for additional seasons. If it is set five years before the events of Rogue One that’s a whole lot of time that could be filled in with more Diego Luna.
Plot Synopsis:
“Everything I did, I did for the Rebellion.”
Andor takes place in 5 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) and explores the origins of the swaggering Rebel Cassian Andor.
Andor begins streaming in 2022 on Disney+.
