Marvel Studios has released an official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Let’s take a look!

Okay, this looks really good. I enjoyed 2015’s Ant-Man, but was pretty indifferent to 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. This, however, looks like an entirely different sort of superhero film. There are some shades of Star Wars (a strange new planet/realm) and Fast & Furious (FAMILY!) thrown into the mix here. Also, KAAAAAANG!

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly lead the upcoming MCU threequel as Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne / Wasp. The rest of the film’s ensemble cast includes Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, Bill Murray, and Randall Park.

Plot Synopsis:

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Scott’s daughter, Cassie, are accidentally sent to the Quantum Realm. The family soon finds themselves exploring the Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania opens in theaters on February 17, 2023.
