Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke & Sasheer Zamata Join ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’

It looks like Marvel Studios really wants me to watch Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

According to VarietyAubrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation) has joined the upcoming WandaVision spinoff, which also recently added Heartstopper star Joe Locke and Saturday Night Live alumna Sasheer Zamata to its cast. No word yet on who these three might play, but rumor has it Plaza will be the series’ main villain while Locke could portray a teenage version of Billy Maximoff/Wiccan, one of the Scarlet Witch’s twin sons. All we know about Zamata’s role is that it will be in a recurring capacity.

Coven of Chaos was first announced in October 2021. Besides Plaza and Locke, Kathryn Hahn and Emma Caulfield Ford are the only other actors confirmed for the upcoming Disney+ series, with both set to reprise their roles from WandaVision as Agatha Harkness and Dottie, respectively.

Jac Schaefer (WandaVision) will serve as head writer for Coven of Chaos. Production on the upcoming series will reportedly commence in January 2023 under the working title “My Pretty.” Agatha: Coven of Chaos will premiere in Winter 2023 on Disney+, as part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
