The Marvel Cinematic Universe has just landed a trio of fan-favorite characters/actors.
Per Deadline, Mia Goth has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Blade in an undisclosed role. Goth is an up-and-coming actor who quickly broke out last year with the one-two punch of X and Pearl. She was even nominated for a ScreenAge Wasteland Award for Best Actress for her performance in Pearl.
Deadline also had the scoop on some Deadpool 3 casting. It looks like Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic will reprise their roles as Vanessa and Colossus, respectively, in the upcoming MCU threequel. This news comes shortly after star Ryan Reynolds confirmed the returns of Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams as Dopinder and Blind Al. All four characters appeared in the first two Deadpool movies. They join a cast that includes Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Blade opens in theaters on September 6, 2024, followed by Deadpool 3 on November 8, 2024.
