The third season of Westworld is set to premiere this Sunday, March 15. The popular HBO series usually takes about a two-year gap between seasons meaning it is easy to forget what exactly transpired over the previous two seasons.
Thankfully, two YouTube channels have provided videos to help get you caught up to speed. The first, Screen Junkies, has released a new episode in their “Cram It!” series that runs down the events of season one and two.
The second, Cinematica, has provided a very helpful chronological timeline of every moment that has taken place in Westworld so far. I found this to be extremely useful, especially with season 2’s mind-boggling timeline jumping. It helped me fill in some season 2 moments that I had struggled to comprehend. It’s also just great to see Westworld played out in chronological order with helpful narration.
Did “Cram It!” help refresh your memory on what has so far taken place on Westworld? Was there anything you learned about the show after seeing its events play out in chronological order?
What are your hopes and wishes for season 3 of Westworld? Do you hope for a more linear plot? Or do you like the confusing nature of the show?
