Last week’s episode “The Long Night” proved to be pretty divisive, and though I have my issues with how quickly Benioff and Weiss swept the whole Night King/White Walker storyline under the rug, I’m not ready to give up on the show. Far from it. I still think Game of Thrones is exceptional TV, and I have been very entertained so far this season. As long as it continues to deliver on that front, I’ll consider myself lucky this show even exists.
