‘Harley Quinn’ Gets a Fourth Season and a New Showrunner

The Hollywood Reporter has news that the DC Comics adult animated series Harley Quinn has been renewed for a fourth season on HBO Max. Also announced was that series writer Sarah Peters will take over as showrunner for Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker.

The almost always raunchy, over-the-top and in-your-face animated series stars Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn as well as the voices of Lake Bell, Ron Funches, Diedrich Bader, J. B. Smoove, Christopher Meloni, with Alan Tudyk as the Joker.

Considering the constant state of chaos when it comes to all things DC at Warner Bros. Discovery, this is welcome news. Let’s be honest, I wouldn’t recommend the show to my Mother-In-Law, but it’s a good and often hilarious take on the seemingly always serious DC Universe Characters. Right now, the DC cinematic and television universes need some stability.

Harley Quinn season 3 is currently streaming on HBO Max.

Thoughts on the current or upcoming season? I’m hoping for an Ambush Bug cameo, but that’s just me.
