Okay, now this is some unexpected but exciting news!
Ryan Reynolds has just announced that Hugh Jackman will be reprising his X-Men role as Logan / Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Here’s the announcement video:
Following the insane response from fans, Reynolds and Jackman released a second video that teased how Wolverine would be incorporated into the upcoming threequel.
Shawn Levy will serve as the director of Deadpool 3 and he took to Twitter following Jackman’s casting to “thank Stranger Things for training [him] to keep [his] big mouth shut” as he’s apparently known about the casting for weeks now.

Reynolds also announced that Deadpool 3 will hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
