It’s a No Hard Feelings reunion with Gene Stupnitsky in final negotiations to direct Jennifer Lawrence in the rom-com One Month Mark.
According to Deadline, Lawrence pushed to reunite with Stupnitsky after No Hard Feelings. The two had wanted to work together again, and Lawrence felt he was the perfect fit for One Month Mark, which is described as a contemporary romantic comedy.
The logline for the movie reads: “She has never made it past a month in a relationship. He has never gone longer than a month without one.”
One Month Mark is set to be produced by Apple Studios, with Chernin Entertainment’s David Ready and Peter Chernin serving as producers. Lawrence and her producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi will produce for Excellent Cadaver. De Bruijn and Brady Fujikawa also executive produce.
