Universal is staying in business with Jordan Peele.
According to Variety, Universal has added an “Untitled Fourth Film Directed by Jordan Peele” to its release calendar. The film is set to hit theaters on December 25, 2024. “Let me book my tickets right now,” said everyone who is still a fan of Peele’s work.
Universal previously released the filmmaker’s first three features — Get Out (2017), Us (2019), and Nope (2022). The studio also scheduled an untitled Monkeypaw film (which is Peele’s production company) to release on September 27, 2024. No word yet on what that film could be, although there’s some wishful chatter online about it being Candyman 2 (or 3 or 5; however you decide to look at it).
We’ll keep you posted as more information on Peele’s fourth film becomes available because right now we know zilch!
