‘Jungleland’ Trailer: Charlie Hunnam and Jack O’Connell Are Brothers

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Paramount has released an official trailer for Jungleland, starring Charlie Hunnam and Jack O’Connell as two brothers trying to stay relevant in the underground world of bare-knuckle boxing. Let’s take a look.

It looks okay. Honestly, the trailer didn’t do much for me. It presented the film as a somewhat compelling drama of two brothers who royally fucked up and were trying to right their wrongs to escape death. I’ve seen that hundreds of times before in movies already. The boxing aspect is sort of original (at least for what I’ve watched).

In the end, it will be the performances of Hunnam and O’Connell that will get me to watch this. And maybe Jonathan Majors, but only so I can see what his acting is like before he hits the MCU with Ant-Man 3.

Jungleland hits limited theaters November 6, 2020. It arrives on VOD and digital purchase on November 10, 2020.
