Back in June we discussed the Best Male Action Stars, but this time around the ladies are telling the men to get in the kitchen and make them a damn sandwich because it’s their time to shine. These ladies kick ass and have been a part of some of the biggest action franchises in cinema history helping rake in all the dough. All the actresses are stellar and have meant a lot to the action genre while showing that women can dispatch baddies better than anyone.

Several actresses were listed multiples with Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, Resident Evil Franchise) taking the number one spot landing on 6 lists. I mean she did play the embodiment on the perfect specimen as Leeloo in The Fifth Element and has kicked as much ass as anyone on the list. Sigourney Weaver (Alien Franchise) and Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road) coming in second with 5 votes a piece. Linda Hamilton (Terminator Franchise), Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and the double world wide box office champion herself, Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar) , all tied for third with 4 votes a piece.
