Warner Bros. has just released the first Scoob! trailer after they released some first look images a couple days ago.
I’m very hesitant about this, but I like the idea of kickstarting a Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe. There are a number of properties like The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, and The Flintstones that would be amazing to see interact and crossover. It would hearken back to the good old days of Hanna-Barbera.
Fred also looks really dumb. And I don’t like the idea of Scooby being some stray, because then how will we introduce the rest of the Doo family, specifically Scooby-Dum!
Plot Synopsis:
SCOOB! reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
