A couple updates concerning DC Films.
First, Matt Reeves has added Peter Sarsgaard to the cast of The Batman. He made the announcement once again on Twitter.

Unfortunately, we don’t know who Sarsgaard will be playing which makes him one of the few actors in the film without a confirmed character.
Some people online think he could be playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face since the image accompanying the image has two faces in it. That’s a bit of a stretch, but if The Batman is based on The Long Halloween comic, then we know Two-Face factors into the story in some manner.
Now THR states that “sources speculate he could be playing a corrupt cop named Wasserman or a district attorney.” Wasserman sounds like an original character, but as we all should know if he’s playing a “district attorney” who better than District Attorney Harvey Dent.
We’ll continue to keep you updated on casting as it is announced.
The Batman hits theaters June 25, 2021.
The Hollywood Reporter learned from director Patty Jenkins herself that there have already been talks about a Wonder Woman 3 and that a spin-off focusing on the Amazons is being considered.
Here’s what Jenkins revealed about a third Wonder Woman:
“We actually already know the whole story to it. It’s just a matter of, will we change our minds, and when [to make it]. I think what we don’t want to do is do it back to back. It’s been great doing these two movies back to back, but I think it’s important to give it a little rest in between. And I like doing other things in between. And Gal has other things to do. I never want to make decisions too far in advance. We have to see if we both feel like making the movie we think we want to make when the moment comes.”
Personally, I’d be down for a third Wonder Woman only because I enjoyed the heck out of the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984. However, concerning the spin-off, I’m about as excited for that as I am The Trench spin-off Wan is developing (based on the sea creatures introduced in Aquaman).
Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters June 5, 2020.
Who do you think Sarsgaard is playing? Would you be interested in a spin-off focusing on the Amazons?
