The Expendables live to see another day.
The elite group of mercenaries will band back together for The Expendables 4, the latest film in the franchise by Lionsgate and Millennium Media.
Franchise stars Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are all returning and will reprise their roles from previous films as Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen, Toll Road, and Barney Ross.
New castmembers for the sequel include Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa.
The film will begin production this fall. Scott Waugh will direct from a screenplay by Spenser Cohen with revisions by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
No target release date was revealed, but if production does start in the next couple of months I’ll bet that we’ll see The Expendables 4 sometime next year.
