Apple TV+ has released an official trailer for The Mosquito Coast. The upcoming adaptation of the Paul Theroux novel of the same name stars Justin Theroux, who —you guessed it— is Paul Theroux’s nephew. What a nice family picture this turned out to be and I haven’t even watched the trailer yet!
I’ve been wanting to watch the 1980s adaptation starring Harrison Ford for a while now, but cannot find a copy of it available anywhere. I guess I’ll have to settle for this. If I have Apple TV+ I might as well be using it!
Plot Synopsis:
A brilliant rebel (Justin Theroux) and his wife (Melissa George) take their family on the run to protect them, but end up exposing them to more danger than ever. At every turn of their adventure, they encounter increasing threats and intensifying moral choices from which there’s no turning back.
The Mosquito Coast premieres April 30, 2021 on Apple TV+.
