Paramount and Universal have made a couple changes to their upcoming release schedule. Okay, so Universal only shifted the release date of The Forever Purge. Meanwhile, Paramount basically shuffled its whole upcoming slate of films. Let’s dive in.

A couple of these films actually got pushed up! The theatrical experience is finally coming back!
In addition to shuffling previously announced films, Paramount dated a handful of new films. The most high profile among the new films has to be the mystery Star Trek film that is reportedly not that one Kalinda Vazquez is currently writing. It will apparently be a separate J.J. Abrams-produced film. Exciting!
What do you think of the release date shuffle? Are you sad to see the Mission: Impossible sequels pushed back again? I sure am!
