It looks like we haven’t seen the last of White Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to Deadline, the potential Disney+ series, currently titled Vision Quest, will focus on “The Vision (Paul Bettany) trying to regain his memory and humanity.” For those who haven’t seen WandaVision, the final episodes of that series introduced “White Vision.” Created by S.W.O.R.D. by rebuilding and reactivating Vision’s body, White Vision was sent on a mission to destroy Wanda and her “Conditional” Vision. After a philosophical battle with the “Conditional” Vision (who sort of rebooted White Vision by scanning his memories), White Vision declared, “I am Vision,” and disappeared.
Vision Quest will be the second MCU series to spinoff from the critically-acclaimed and Emmy-nominated 2021 limited series WandaVision after Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The upcoming series will be overseen by WandaVision creator, writer, and executive producer Jac Schaeffer. A writers’ room is currently being assembled and will open sometime this week.
While no additional casting has been announced at this time, there is apparently a possibility for Elizabeth Olsen to appear as Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch. No release window for Vision Quest has been announced either. We’ll keep you posted.
