For starters, Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed from June to August, 14, 2020. Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich talked about the new release date after rumors suggested the film could drop on HBO Max (via Variety):
“When we greenlit Wonder Woman 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen and are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theatres on Aug. 14. We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.”
Additionally, In the Heights, Scoob, and Malignant have been pulled from the calendar indefinitely. Those films were originally supposed to hit theaters on June 26, May 15, and August 14. However, for the time being, Tenet is still slated to open on July 17.
