‘Westworld’ Season 3 Trailer: Just When I Think I’m Out…

…Westworld pulls me back in! HBO has dropped an official season 3 trailer for the returning science-fiction show. Check it out below.

After the amazing first season, Westworld sort of went off the rails in season 2. The season 2 opener was so “meh” that I didn’t watch the rest of the season until a few months later. Overall, I found season 2 to just be a small downgrade in terms of quality. (The multiple timelines were the main problem in season 2 while they were the best surprise of season 1).

This trailer teases some exciting things for season 3. I like the idea of the hosts entering the real world. I still don’t know how Maeve can be stuck in Westworld (how many timelines are there?!), but I like that we’ll be seeing her face off against Dolores.

But really, I just want to know what the hell is going on with The Man in Black. Is he a host now? I just want answers.

Let’s hope Westworld gives me them.

Plot Synopsis:

The third season takes place immediately after events of the second season, with Dolores having escaped the Westworld along with the cores of a few hosts, including Bernard’s. Taking residence in neo-Los Angeles, Dolores develops a relationship with Caleb, and comes to learn how artificial beings are treated in the real world. Meanwhile, Maeve finds herself in another part of the Delos park, one based on Fascist Italy during World War II.

Westworld season 3 premieres March 15, 2020 on HBO.
