‘Wolfwalkers’ Trailer: I’m Running With the Wolves Tonight

Apple TV+ has released an official trailer for Wolfwalkers Based on the looks of the first trailer, this could be the project that finally garners the streaming service some much needed attention.

I’ll watch it. Apparently, Cartoon Saloon, the studio behind Wolfwalkers, has garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature for each of its first three films. That’s a lot of baggage that Wolfwalkers will have to deal with, but this trailer shows that the film should have no probably keeping up with its pack.

Side note: what’s the over/under on Sean Bean dying in this?

Plot Synopsis:

In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the WOLFWALKERS and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.

Wolfwalkers hits theaters November 13, 2020. It will begins streaming on Apple TV+ on December 11, 2020.
