Ariana Greenblatt and Pierce Gagnon Join ‘Scoob’

The Wrap reports Ariana Greenblatt (young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War) and Pierce Gagnon (young Rainmaker in Looper) have been cast as younger versions of Velma and Fred in Scoob. Zac Efron and Gina Rodriguez are set to voice the characters as young adults.

Amanda Seyfried, Will Forte, and Frank Welker round out the rest of Mystery Inc. as Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo. Other Hanna-Barbera characters set to join Mystery Inc. in the film include Captain Caveman (Tracy Morgan), Blue Falcon and Dynomutt (Mark Wahlberg and Ken Jeong), and Dick Dastardly (Jason Isaacs).

Plot Synopsis:

Scooby-Doo is the hero of his own story in “SCOOB!,” the first full-length, theatrical animated Scooby-Doo adventure, which reveals how he and his best friend Shaggy became two of the world’s most beloved crime busters. The story takes us back to where it all began, when a young Scooby and Shaggy first meet, and team up with Daphne, Velma and Fred to launch Mystery Incorporated.

Scoob is set to hit theaters May 15, 2020.

What do you think of the voice cast so far? Who should voice any remaining Hanna-Barbera characters (like Yogi Bear)?
