Everything has been delayed again! (again!)
Disney, Paramount, Sony, and Orion have announced new release dates for most of their upcoming films. Some are still slated to hit theaters this year while others have been pushed back to 2021. Instead of going through them one by one, let’s just slap together a bulleted list of every new release date in order of when you’ll finally be able to see this films in theaters first.

- Death on the Nile (October 23, 2020)
- The Empty Man (December 4, 2020)
- Antlers (February 19, 2021)
- A Quiet Place Part II (April 23, 2021)
- Top Gun: Maverick (July 2, 2021)
- Jackass (September 3, 2021)
- The Last Duel (October 15, 2021)
- Spider-Man 3 (December 17, 2021)
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (April 8, 2022)
- Under the Boardwalk (July 22, 2022)
- Avatar 2 (December 16, 2022)
- The Tiger’s Apprentice (February 10, 2023)
- Untitled Star Wars film (December 22, 2023)
- Avatar 3 (December 20, 2024)
- Untitled Star Wars film (December 19, 2025)
- Avatar 4 (December 18, 2026)
- Untitled Star Wars film (December 17, 2027)
- Avatar 5 (December 22, 2028)
Additionally, Mulan and The French Dispatch have been delayed indefinitely, and Without Remorse is in final negotiations to be purchased by Amazon Studios.
I mean, I’m bummed that Top Gun and A Quiet Place have been delayed, but on the upside 2021 is going to be absolutely stacked with films I want to see!
