TIE Fighter is an awesome 2015 short Star Wars animated fan film, depicting a space battle between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. But this time it’s from the Imperial TIE pilots’ point of view. Created by Paul Johnson over four years worth of weekends. This great little film is an awesome homage to 80s anime as well as the 1994 Star Wars: TIE Fighter video game (which I wish I still had), which the film uses the sound effects and borrows the logo design from. Check it out below.
What do you think about this animated film? It reminds me of my youth big time, but also reinvigorates the Star Wars franchise a bit. I wish they made a full series of this.
Tell us what you think about it in the comments.
