Production on the next Ghostbusters film is officially underway in the United Kingdom.
The official Ghostbusters Twitter account shared the news with a picture of director Gil Kenan and producer Jason Reitman. “Back in the Firehouse. Day One!” reads the caption.

The photo also included the film’s clapperboard, revealing that the upcoming sequel will be shot under the working title “Firehouse.” How convenient since the new film will reportedly move the Ghostbusting back to New York City.
So, who is back for Ghostbusters 4? Carrie Coon as Callie Spengler, Finn Wolfhard as Trevor Spengler, Mckenna Grace as Phoebe Spengler, Celeste O’Connor as Lucky Domingo, Paul Rudd as Gary Grooberson, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, that’s who!
Ghostbusters 4 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters by Sony on December 20, 2023.
