‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Delayed to 2022; ‘Soul’ Heads to Disney+; ‘The Addams Family 2’ Gets 2021 Release Date

Another week, another round of release delays and announcements. First up, Jurassic World: Dominion has been delayed just under a full year. Originally slated to hit theaters on June 11, 2021 it will now open on June 10, 2022. The first poster for the film was also released.

I’m digging the logo in the amber! It definitely feels like the franchise is coming full circle, especially with the return of the original trio!

Moving on, Disney and Pixar’s Soul will now be exclusively premiering on Disney+ on December 25, 2020. Internationally, where Disney+ isn’t currently available, Soul will still be released theatrically at a to be announced date. Soul was originally set to open earlier this year on June 19 before moving to November 20 and now Christmas.

Finally, The Addams Family 2 was officially announced via the below video. It will hit theaters next year on October 8, 2021.

What do you think of Soul hitting Disney+? It doesn’t look like it’s going to be going the Premier Access route Mulan took. Thoughts on Jurassic World: Dominion being pushed back a year? And does anyone want an Addams Family 2? Tell us down in the comments!
