Sony has just released the official Little Women trailer and damn, does it look good!
I know absolutely nothing about Little Women, besides the fact that it exists, but this looks so good. The cast is beyond insane (Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson, Laura Dern, and Meryl Streep), and it’s directed by Greta Gerwig, who’s going to have a long career in Hollywood if she keeps up this streak.
The cast alone is what is selling me on this film, so there’s a good chance I’ll be seeing this come December.
Plot Synopsis (of the book):
Little Women or Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy is the first book in Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women series. The story revolves around the lives of four sisters growing up during and after the Civil War. With their father off fighting the war, the girls face the hardships and constraints of poverty and social expectations.
Little Women hits theaters December 25, 2019.
