‘Mulan’, ‘The New Mutants, ‘Antlers’ & More Get Delayed Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Another day, another handful of films delayed due to coronavirus concerns.

Disney has officially pulled Mulan and The New Mutants from release schedules. Both films were set to hit cinemas within the next month. Disney has also pulled the Searchlight film Antlers. None of the three films have been given new release dates at this time. An insider says that Disney is still looking to release them later this year.

Surprisingly, Black Widow is still on track for its worldwide May 1 release. We’ll let you know if that changes. If it sticks, it will have minimal competition in theaters besides Trolls World Tour. And frankly, you can only see Trolls World Tour so many times before you need to see something new.

Jumping over to Paramount, the studio has pulled The Lovebirds and Blue Story from the release schedule. Neither film has been rescheduled yet.

And finally, in older news, Sony pushed Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway back to August 7, 2020.

Which film will be the next to be pulled from the schedule? Are you disappointed that you might not be able to go to the theaters for the next couple of months?
