What a week it’s been for the stars of Off Campus.
Just a day after Belmont Cameli joined Sony’s Hollow, Deadline is reporting that his Off Campus co-star Ella Bright has landed her first big studio feature role as the female lead opposite Mason Thames in Narcs.
Before her breakout role in Off Campus, Bright played a young Kate Middleton on Netflix’s The Crown and starred in the historical drama series Malory Towers. Up ahead for the actor is the true-life wrestling drama Gable, in which she stars alongside Finn Cole, Ben Foster, and more.
John Phillips will make his directorial debut on the new coming-of-age comedy from Sony Pictures, which was announced earlier this week. He is best known as the writer behind R-rated comedies No Hard Feelings, Good Boys, and Dirty Grandpa.
Plot details remain under wraps for Narcs. Jordan & Justin Shipley, creators of the TBS comedy Wrecked, penned the script, with a rewrite by Phillips and frequent collaborator Gene Stupnitsky.
