Sam Neill fans have just been handed the greatest gift imaginable after the actor’s passing last month.

According to Deadline, Neill has an undisclosed role in Sony‘s live-action The Legend of Zelda movie. It will mark one of his final screen performances.

Dichen Lachman (Severance), Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock) have also landed roles in the movie, which wrapped production back in April.

Strahovski’s role is also under wraps, although she’s reportedly playing a queen character. As for Lachman, she’s playing Impa, the bodyguard and advisor to Bo Bragason’s Princess Zelda, while Latukefu has signed a multi-picture deal to play lead villain Ganondorf.

Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is leading the fantasy adventure film as Link, the (mostly) silent protagonist of The Legend of Zelda video games. Wes Ball directed the movie from a screenplay written by T.S. Nowlin. The two previously worked together on The Maze Runner trilogy.

The Legend of Zelda is slated to hit theaters on May 7, 2027.
