Disney had their big D23 Expo this past weekend and the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skwalker footage is now online for all to see!
While it starts out with a bunch of stock footage from the past movies, there is some pretty sweet looking new footage starting around 1:12. I know that Star Wars gets dumped on a lot these days, but no matter what I’m excited to see this last film. I don’t want to hash over everything I saw in here too much (I’ll save that for the comments) but who was that at the end!?!?!
Plot Synopsis:
A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again—while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, altogether bringing the Skywalker saga to a definitive end.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters December 20.
