This weekend is the release of Snake Eyes, the G.I. Joe origin story of the fan favorite, mute ninja. And because of that, there is no better time than now to revisit these hysterical parodies. If you remember the public service announcements that closed out each episode of the cartoon from the ’80s, you’ll get a kick out of these.
Back in 2003, Chicago-based filmmaker Eric Fensler created a series of 25 spoofs of those old PSAs. Re-edited and chock full of overdubbed, ridiculous dialogue about pork chop sandwiches, body massages, downloadin’ and other nonsensical topics.
The internet was never the same.
This video is a remastered compilation of those videos. If you’ve never seen them, prepare to be entertained. If you have already seen them, enjoy them anyway. Honestly, I probably revisit these clips at least once a year. They will never not be funny to me.
