Marvel Studios officially confirmed the first seven actors for its X-Men reboot last night at D23.

There have been a lot of rumors about the cast for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie over the past week or so. Marvel decided to officially put most of them to bed by bringing out Sadie Sink, who, if you haven’t seen Spider-Man: Brand New Day yet, sorry, but she’s Jean Grey, to help “talk about the X-Men.”

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige then brought Kit ConnorSamara WeavingChristoper AbbottInde Navarette, and Maya Boyd onto the stage, revealing that they will be playing Cyclops, Emma Frost, Professor Charles Xavier, Rogue, and Storm, respectively.

Adam Driver then popped up on screen to reveal that he was playing — no, not Magneto — Nathaniel Milbury, an amalgamation of Mister Sinister’s real name and one of his known aliases.

The movie’s release date was also confirmed for May 5, 2028. This means that there will be three MCU movies hitting theaters in 2028: X-Men, Ryan Gosling’s Ghost Rider, and Black Panther III.

What do you think of the X-Men lineup so far? Anyone you would have rather seen cast as some of these characters?
