‘You’ Renewed for Fourth Season at Netflix

Joe Goldberg will continue to try to be a better person. Netflix has renewed You for a fourth season, ScreenAge Wasteland has learned. The renewal comes ahead of the series’ season 3 premiere this Friday.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ series of novels, You stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, “a man who will do just about anything when love is at stake.”

On the renewal, You showrunner Sera Gamble said in a statement:

“Reading Caroline’s novel, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view. And it’s been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life. We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past three seasons. The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in Season 4.”

The third season of You finds “Joe and Love (Victoria Pedretti) relocating to the suburbs, where they find darkness lurking around every corner — and behind every white picket fence.”

Are you excited You was renewed for another season? Will you be bingeing the series this weekend?
