‘A Man Called Otto’ Trailer: Fall in Love With the Grumpiest Man in America

Sony Pictures has released an official trailer for A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks in the title role. Let’s take a look.

I had no clue what to expect when I clicked play on the trailer, but I like it. I think Greyhound was the last new Hanks movie I saw, so I’m excited to give this one a shot when it releases.

A Man Called Otto also stars Mariana Treviño, Rachel Keller, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Cameron Britton, and Mike Birbiglia.

Plot Synopsis:

Based on the comical and moving # 1 New York Times bestseller, A Man Called Otto tells the story of Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks), a grumpy widower who is very set in his ways. When a lively young family moves in next door, he meets his match in quick-witted and very pregnant Marisol, leading to an unlikely friendship that will turn his world upside-down. Experience a funny, heartwarming story about how some families come from the most unexpected places.

Directed by Marc Forster, A Man Called Otto opens in limited theaters on December 25, 2022, before a wide release on January 13, 2023.
