HBO Max has released a teaser showcasing all of the original and acquired content that will be available on the streaming service when it launches in May.
Some of the films and series glimpsed in the 30-second ad include Friends, South Park, Game of Thrones, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Joker, The Matrix, and Wonder Woman. We also know that Doctor Who, Sesame Street, and new iterations of Green Lantern, The Griswolds, and Grease will be hitting the service.
It’s clear that Warner Bros. is serious about HBO Max. The studio recently announced Warner Max, a new movie label that will produce original feature films for the streaming service. In the age of the “Streaming Wars”, acquired content is only one slice of the pie. I’m interested in seeing what sort of content Warner Max will churn out.
