‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ ‘Napoleon,’ ‘Thanksgiving’ & ‘Ballerina’ Get Release Dates

Two upcoming Apple Original Films, a long-awaited slasher film, and a John Wick spinoff have secured official release dates.

First up, Apple has partnered with Paramount Pictures, which will handle theatrical distribution for the Martin Scorsese-directed Killers of the Flower Moon. The film, which is based on a true story, will open in limited theaters on October 6, 2023, before going wide on October 20, 2023. The film will then stream globally on Apple TV+.

Sony Pictures will handle theatrical distribution for Apple’s upcoming historical action epic Napoleon, which stars Joaquin Phoenix as French conqueror Napoleon Bonaparte and Vanessa Kirby as Empress Josephine. The Ridley Scott-directed film will open worldwide on November 22, 2023. Following its theatrical run, Napoleon will be available to stream globally on Apple TV+.

Next up, Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving, which is inspired by his fictitious trailer in 2007’s Grindhouse. TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group will release the horror movie on November 17, 2023.

Finally, Lionsgate has dated Ballerina, an upcoming John Wick spinoff set between Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, for release on June 7, 2024. Ana de Armas stars in the title role with franchise mainstays Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick set to make cameo appearances in the film.
