Paramount Releases the First ‘The Contractor’ Trailer

The other day Paramount released a trailer for the new action thriller The Contractor. I know you all think this may be a remake of the Wesley Snipes film of the same name, but I assure you it is not.

I love me a good action thriller and this cast is right up my alley. Bringing back the awesome duo of Chris Pine and Ben Foster of Hell or High Water is an automatic watch for me. Plus Kiefer Sutherland looks like a badass in there.

Apparently this was formerly known as Violence of Action which we posted about back in 2019.

Plot Synopsis:

Involuntarily discharged from the Army, a special forces sergeant lands a contract with a private underground military force. When his very first assignment goes awry, the elite soldier finds himself hunted and on the run, caught in a dangerous conspiracy and fighting to stay alive long enough to get home and uncover the true motives of those who betrayed him.

 

The Contractor hits theaters and digital April 1, 2022.
