The cast of C.L.A.Y. has just been rounded out by the stars of The Boys and Titans.
According to Deadline, Erin Moriarty and Brenton Thwaites have joined C.L.A.Y., which is being headlined by Nicolas Cage. They will star alongside the previously announced Michael Sheen, Jordi Mollà, Emilio Sakraya, Adrian Topol, and Agnez Mo.
“Brenton and Erin are two of the most exciting actors working today, and they bring exactly the charisma and emotional truth this story needs. With them, our cast is complete, and I couldn’t be happier as we head into production together in London this November,” said writer-director Simon Afram.
C.L.A.Y. is a psychological cyber-thriller following “a brilliant but socially invisible computer prodigy who finds purpose and belonging when he is drawn into C.L.A.Y. (Clowns Laughing At You), an underground hacker collective whose daring exploits turn digital provocation into real-world consequences. As the group’s notoriety grows, their actions attract the attention of intelligence agencies, criminal syndicates and rival hackers.”
Filming is now underway on C.L.A.Y. in London. The movie marks the directorial debut of Afram, who is best known for writing and producing the upcoming World War II espionage feature Fortitude (also starring Cage).
