A lot of Star Wars related news has made the rounds on the internets since Celebration Chicago last weekend, and while much of the attention has been focused on JJ Abrams’ forthcoming trilogy film, Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, the first live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian, deserves some of that attention. A short sizzle reel that was shown at the panel for the exclusive Disney+ show leaked online (of course it did), but more recently a longer sneak peek of the show found its way online. So, I’m pretty jaded where the trilogy films are concerned, but everything I have heard and now seen relating to The Mandalorian gives me a bit of hope for Star Wars in general. And that footage looks bad ass. But this is Star Wars and it seems differences of opinion are the one thing fans can count on having in common. So what did you think?
