The cast of Dune: Part Two continues to acquire top-notch talent, with Tim Blake Nelson the latest actor to board the upcoming sci-fi sequel.
According to Deadline, Nelson has joined the cast of Dune: Part Two in an undisclosed role. Production on the Warner Bros. and Legendary sequel wrapped late last year. Part Two will pick up immediately from the events of 2021’s Dune and adapt the second half of Frank Herbert’s 1965 epic science-fiction novel
So far, the Dune: Part Two ensemble cast consists of returning stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, and Javier Bardem, and new cast members Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Austin Butler, and Léa Seydoux.
Denis Villeneuve is back to write, direct and produce Part Two. He also co-wrote the sequel’s script with Jon Spaihts. Dune: Part Two opens in theaters on November 3, 2023.
