Which Supporting MCU Character Should Get Their Own Disney+ Show?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

Welcome to Superhero Month at ScreenAge Wasteland, over the month of February you will be seeing a lot of content geared towards our love of everything DC, Marvel, and beyond.

Over the weekend, I saw the following tweet from Stephen Ford:

If the tweet doesn’t load, Ford states that he would be down to see a Disney+ series following Randall Park‘s Jimmy Woo solving fun X-Files-like mysteries in the MCU. Since WandaVision already focuses on two former supporting characters, the possibility of a Jimmy Woo series isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

So the question I ask today is: which MCU supporting character should get their own Disney+ series?

Honestly, I am 100 per cent on board with this Jimmy Woo series, and to sweeten the deal I’d add Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis.

*barely any WandaVision spoilers incoming*

The two showed good chemistry together in the latest episode of WandaVision. I think they would make great partners. They are both funny, but take their jobs seriously. And since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is no longer on, this type of show could be its spiritual successor.

So what about you, folks? Which MCU series featuring a former supporting character would you be down to watch?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
