We’re probably going to feature a lot of Star Wars fan films this month, so I figured we might as well lead with the best. If you’re a Star Wars fan, chances are you’ve already seen Paul Johnson’s TIE Fighter, but if it’s been a while, it’s definitely worth revisiting. This little seven and half minute fan film is amazing. There’s nothing that takes you out of it and makes you think Oh, yeah, this is a fan film.
But, hey, watch it and decide for yourself.
In my opinion, Disney’s animated Star Wars shows have been stronger than most of the other stuff they’ve churned out, but it seems to me there’s plenty of room in the franchise for something like this. I mean, I’d watch a whole series in this style.
But we’d love to know what you think? Is TIE Fighter your kinda thing or not? Would you like to see Disney produce something in this style or nah?
