Jonah Hills Exits ‘The Batman’

Days after Zoe Kravitz signed on to play Catwoman, Deadline is reporting that Jonah Hill has walked away from The Batman.

It looks like talks broke down between Warner Bros. and Hill, which is understandable. Hill was reportedly asking for a $10 million paycheck, which would have been more than Pattinson (Batman himself) was making.

Warner Bros. is already looking at new potential candidates for the roles of the Riddler and Penguin. Seth Rogen was at one point approached for the role of the Penguin, but nothing came from that.

Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of Hill in The Batman to begin with, especially playing the Riddler. The casting so far has been entirely hit or miss, although, I am looking forward to seeing Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.

The Batman is currently on track for June 25, 2021. We’ll continue to keep you updated on casting as it breaks.

What are your thoughts on Hill no longer in talks to play the Riddler or Penguin? Who would you FanCast in those roles to play opposite Pattinson’s Batman?
