‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Delayed; ‘Equalizer 3’, ‘Crimes of the Future’ & More Get Release Dates

We got some sad news for Spider-Man fans and maybe some good news for horror fans.

Sony has delayed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse from October 7, 2022 to June 2, 2023. However, the studio has dated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II for release on March 29, 2024.

Additionally, Sony has moved its upcoming animated feature Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile up from November 18 to October 7, 2022. The studio has also dated its Spider-Man spinoff Madame Web for July 7, 2023.

Finally, The Equalizer 3 will hit theaters on September 1, 2023 and Devotion will hit limited theaters on October 14, 2022 before going wide on October 28, 2022.


NEON has finally dated David Cronenberg‘s new sci-fi/horror project Crimes of the Future. The film will hit NY and LA theaters on June 3, 2022 before expanding wide on June 10, 2022.


Lastly, Warner Bros. has set a September 9, 2022 release date for Salem’s Lot, a new adaptation of the Stephen King novel.
